A proposal project was developed with the participation and return of local people, insights of the local government, and consultancy of expert architects regarding the parking lot in Çengelköy. Actors came together for a study aimed at the sustainability of public behavior, compatible with the urban fabric, and making public use possible.
The whole design process was carried out under the direction of young architects with the participation and consultancy of relevant stakeholders. A participatory and sustainable urban design approach has been introduced, which takes into consideration the local dynamics, and maintains the public life quality of Çengelköy in the long term.
