Following the work on the refugee camps in Gaziantep, solutions were made by addressing the urban square arrangement and identifying the urban problems of Kilis.

With the project, it was aimed to redesign the city square in the first stage and to create 5 and 10-year strategic plans of the city. An advisory board was created for this study with architects, city planners, city historians, social scientists, and decision-makers. The current situation of the city was evaluated, studies were made on a master plan scale, a vision of the city was developed, and feasible, holistic solutions were proposed for the city. After the Hope Cities project in Gaziantep, the potential of this region was revealed and the city was reorganized accordingly.
