The concept of metropolitan, which is not synonymous with the term big city, emerged in the modern world. As a social and physical reality, it has been discussed since the late 19th century and theoretical studies have been carried out on it. Speaking in Turkey metropolis insight and imagination were discussed in connection with work around the world.
